Thanks too for helping us understand the extent of the infiltration of secularism into language, and the importance of retaining and valuing language that is grounded in the Western Christian Paideia.
Excellent article. I use human flourishing all the time in the traditional sense to convey the good life in the Aristotelean polis. However, you make a fine point about its popular uses which instrumentalize Christianity.
